DEADLINE FOR SUMMER 2010 INTERNSHIPS IS NOVEMBER 2.

The women and men of the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service and Civil Service serve as the face of America to the world. As an intern with the U.S. Department of State, you can learn about the inner workings of U.S. foreign policy, support our mission of helping to create a freer, more prosperous world, and experience our careers first hand. Student of all majors and educational disciplines are encouraged to consider applying.

As an intern you can work at the main U.S. Department of State headquarters in Washington, D.C., or have the opportunity to work at an American Embassy or Consulate overseas. Positions are both paid and unpaid, and many are available during spring, summer or fall.
